More Photo Shoot Fun

Well, since I'm not making holiday photo cards, I thought I might as well show you more photos from our little shoot. So, a funny thing happened while I was taking photos. There is this 90-year-old woman that lives a few doors down. Seriously, I think she's 90 - or at least very close. Oddly enough, she mows her lawn constantly. She wears here purse diagonally over her shoulder and mows her lawn all the time. Anyway, while we were taking pictures, she was taking a walk in the neighborhood. She stopped at our house and watched us for a while, and then proceeded to make it her mission to get Maya to smile. The sun was out, and Maya was very squinty, so she wasn't particulary interested in giving me the big grin. This old woman stood there, making faces and silly noises at Maya, and touching her face while I snapped photos. It was pretty funny.

"Pretty leaves, Mommy. Can I eat these?"

"It's so bright out here! I can barely smile!"

"Who is this woman and why is she touching me?"

Old people always make me smile, they are the best :) I especially love grumpy old men...

What older person would not stop to watch two beauties at work?

Too cute! How did you keep her from eating leaves? Hailey loves leaf salad!

So does Maya, but I managed to wrestle them away from her before they were in her mouth!
